Morning friends!
Here's my
Card Patterns card for the week. I decided to flip the sketch on its side and do a little hand stitching. It took me a bit longer to make this card, but it was worth it!
My base it PTI kraft cut and folded to 8.5" by 4". I made another little scrappy quilt out of scraps I had sitting on my desk from last
Tuesday's card using
My Mind's Eye Bellezo,
My Mind's Eye Play Picnic Basket, Basic Grey, and October Afternoon. I faux-stitched a border around the entire thing using my paper piercer and
Copic Multiliner.
The cute little flower image is from
Waltzingmouse Stamps Sewing Box Hugs set stamped in
Palette Noir ink. I layered two flowers, cut them out, and popped them up on dimensionals. I topped the pink one off with a little white embroidery floss french knot.
Yes, those little
x's in the background were all hand stitched. It took me about an hour to pierce the holes and cross-stitch it all but I love how it turned out. Then I went and covered half of it up with the flower accent and sentiment!! Oh well, it's the thought that counts.
One more thing,
Kate just got back from CHA and her orders are starting to come in to the
i {heart} papers store. So be sure to check back often to see what's new! She also did a little reorganization based upon some of the comments received in the customer survey she sent out. So now when you click on the
new items category everything will be listed in order of what's newest at the top. Hopefully that will make it easier to find the latest and greatest products! [New
Ultra Fine Flower Soft is in already!]
