Happy Friday! It's time for another challenge over on
Crop Suey. This challenge is all about
your favourite color. Use as many different tones of it on your project as you can!
Well, despite what you may see on my blog, I've always had a thing for green. Bright green actually. When I was young I would dress in fluorescent green often. Now, I don't have the option to be that bright in the corporate world. But I love to play with greens in my gardens. So I dedicated this card to my love of green!
My base is PTI new leaf. I made a little faux-notebook panel using my prismacolor pencils and notebook edge punch. That adorable tree image is from
Schlosser Designs Outside the Box set stamped in
Palette Viridian Leaf ink. [This is a spot-on match for PTI's new leaf in my opinion!]
The sentiment in the bottom-right corner comes from
Schlosser Designs Hey Cupcake set stamped in
Palette Viridian Leaf ink again.
I popped both the notebook layer and the little tree layer up on dimensionals for more interest. Then finished my card off with a few loops of ribbon- the dark green is PTI new leaf and the light green is PTI spring moss. I added a tiny paperclip to go with the
office theme. And of course you know I had to add a little sparkle to my card using my
Copic Spica clear glitter pen.
*ETA: Sorry for directing you to Crop Suey when the new challenge isn't up! Apparently there are some behind-the-scenes issues going on. But once that is resolved the new challenge will be up!
