Warm Wishes

Happy Friday everyone! I am so glad the weekend is almost here. Tonight after dinner Mike and I are doing a little gift shopping for my parents. Then we have a late volleyball game. I hope I can stay awake for it! And tomorrow is my company holiday party. It's at a local Mexican restaurant- yum!

I made this card for yesterday's Day 7 challenge over on Paper Craft Planet. The challenge was to make a black and white card. I started it in the morning but wasn't able to finish it until this morning. Oh well, I tried!

I started with a piece of PTI white cardstock. Then layered on a piece of black cardstock from my stash and some vellum that I ran through my Wizard using my Swiss Dots Cuttlebug folder. I used the Winter Home embossing folder on another piece of white cardstock and matted that onto black cardstock again.



My sentiment comes from PTI's Merry & Bright set. I stamped it in Palette noir and I used my corner rounder to make a little tag out of it, then tucked it onto the right of my card. My flower embellishment is a black Prima that was in my stash, layered with a white shimmer flower, and topped off with a white snowflake I punched out.

I used my Copic Spica clear glitter pen to color in the roofs of the houses on the focal panel and the snowflake on my flower embellishment. The black satin ribbon is something I had in my stash.
