Let it Snow

I never thought I would actually be wishing for snow so early, but here I am. I have today and tomorrow off and we were thinking of going skiing. But we need some fresh snow! It was rainy here while I was in Cinci and the slopes are too icy to go. So if it snows tonight we just might be able to squeeze in an early ski outing. Keep your fingers crossed!

I made this card last night while I was thinking about the snow. It measures 9.25" by 4" which fits perfectly into a business envelope. No extra postage!

I started with a piece of PTI Chocolate cardstock. Then added a layer of Bazzill Basics Adobe. The patterned paper is Swell Noel by K&Co. Aren't those snowmen adorable?



I wanted to keep the rest of the card really simple since the patterned paper is so busy. I just added a die-cut which is also from the Swell Noel line. Then a few buttons knotted with hemp twine, and a piece of white satin ribbon from my stash.

Since no card is complete without a little sparkle, I colored in my snowman with my Copic Spica clear glitter pen.

I spent my entire day today mixing up cookie dough and baking as many batches as I could. I still have a few left to do, plus I have to frost the ones I baked today. But I'm glad I was able to get so much done! Depending on the weather, I might not be posting tomorrow if we're on the slopes. But I WILL have some candy in the next few days, so stay tuned!
