Remember This Birthday

Morning friends! It's Thursday which means I'm posting another Embellish-Online project for you to see.

Today is also my husband's birthday- happy birthday babe!! I won't tell you how old he is but I will say this- he's old. {chuckle} So glad he's a few months older than me so I can get away with this!

I made today's card using Pink Paislee's Amber Road collection. The stripes are from Hayride and the dots are from Bonfire. I used my edge distressor to rough up the edges, then pierced a border around the edge.

My focal panel is actually a cute little postcard from the Amber Road collection. I stamped my happy birthday sentiment right onto the panel using Palette Noir ink then colored it in with my Copic Spica black glitter pen.



My image panel was popped up on dimensionals. Then I added a snippet of black grossgrain ribbon that I scrunched together with a button and some twine. The layout for today's card comes form this week's sketch over on Unscripted Sketches.
