Bloom

Morning! Well, just barely! I'm still not back on my regular schedule of crafting and posting here- maybe next week?

I made this card for this week's sketch over on Unscritped Sketches.

My base is PTI kraft. All that yummy paper is from Cosmo Cricket's Early Bird collection. I used my Copic multiliner to make a border of tiny dots around my background paper. It adds a nice subtle touch to the background I think.



The flower and leaves are from PTI's In Bloom set. I stamped them all in Palette Charcoal ink onto kraft cardstock. Then used my prismacolor pencils to color the leaves in. I left the flower blank- it just felt right to me.

To finish my card off, I added a border of coordinating paper that I used my Fiskars apron border punch on, a little twine, and two self-adhesive pearls. Then I went back with my Copic Spica black glitter pen and outlined parts of the flower for more interest and a little sparkle.
