Warm Winter Wishes

Good morning! It's time for another i {heart} papers monthly challenge! This month, Deb challenged us to use one of My Mind's Eye's gorgeous kits that Kate carries in the store here to go with the theme "Eat, Drink, and be Merry".

My card base is PTI dark chocolate. I used the Be Loved collection and decided to make a warm and cozy little winter card to brighten someone's day.

My little mug image is from Unity's Hodgepodge of Happiness kit stamped in Palette Burnt Umber ink. I colored it in with my prismacolor pencils and added some shimmer with my Copic Spica clear glitter pen and my Sakura rose star Gelly Roll pen.



The sentiment comes from Waltzingmouse's Sewing Box Christmas set stamped in Palette Burnt Umber ink.

I finished the card off with some lovely May Arts rose silk ribbon.

I'm sorry the colors are a tad off in my photo! I've had this card sitting on my desk for a few days waiting to photograph when the sun comes out. Unfortunately, it still hasn't and our challenge is due up today. So I had to brighten the photo up manually which made some of the colors change. I really need to make a light box!
