Birthday Giveaway

Well, today is my birthday! And to celebrate, I'm having a little giveaway here on my blog.

I'm offering up one $10 gift certificate to i {heart} papers to one random winner. To be entered, all you have to do is leave a comment on this blog post telling me how you celebrated your last birthday. That's it!

I'll leave the comments open until tomorrow, Thursday February 4th at 11:59pm (which just so happens to be my father's birthday- happy birthday Dad!). I'll post the winner Friday morning.

This is open to anyone, anywhere in the world. But you non-US residents, please only enter if you will actually use the certificate, ok?

I'm off to work. Yes, I have to work- what a downer. But my hubby's taking me out to eat tonight. Not sure where we're going. Either for some Thai food [Yum!] or somewhere that serves amazing cheddar broccoli soup. [Because I've had this unnatural craving for it lately.]

Is it sad if I say I don't even remember what I did on my birthday last year? It sounds sad to me. I had work that day, if that makes it sound any better.

HOOOOOOOORAY:) Happy happy happy birthday, happy birthday to YOU! I don't normally make a big deal about my bday (growing up I was always felt bad when someone asked when it was my day....long long story--but never really celebrated it then either)...so I'm sure my husband took me out to dinner for crab legs...and just hung out. I don't mind not celebrating my day--I really enjoy making a big TO DO about everyone else's bday....so pretend I'm singing to YOU:::

Happy Happy Birthday..; funny thing this morning I was thinking out loud... saying I wonder who's birthday it is today... and BAM you were the first on my blog feed with a Birthday!!
My birthday is also my hubbys birthday so we celebrate it at the cottage with friends.. it has been this way for the last couple of years.. lots of great times hanging with the kids having a fun by the lake.. I love my birthdays.

Happy Birthday Tracy!! Last year I spent my birthday with my kids while my husband was at work. This year I'm not sure what we are doing. You see it is this Sunday and my son wants to stay home and watch the Super Bowl (he's 14). I am hoping to get to work on my craft room and get it done so I can finally "PLAY" in it!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TRACY!

So sweet of you to have a giveaway! For my last birthday, my dear hubby took me out to an amazing brazilian steakhouse for the most romantic evening ever! My craft buddies, AND my work buddies, AND my family all blessed my socks off by remembering my special day and making a point to do something sweet.

For my last birthday I had a bbq with a bunch of little kids and a few parents! I did all the prep work and made the cupcakes for everyone. I don't know why I decided I need to have a birthday party when I am the one who had to do everything for it!

Hope yours is better than that!

I'm pretty sure we just had a quiet night at home for my b-day last year since we were going on vacation a week later and were also in the middle of wedding planning. Soooo glad that is all finished.

Great big Birthday wishes Tracy!!

I had a wonderfully laid back birthday last time round. My family made me breakfast in bed and then we all headed into town to visit with family! It was perfect!

Happy Birthday to you!

My last birthday was a milestone / decade marker. (I won't tell you which one.) A bunch of my girl friends came over. We had a psychic come and tell our fortunes (for fun). Had food, drinks and lots of laughs. It was a great time.

I hope today is a wonderful day even though you had to spend it at work. For my last birthday, I also had to spend it at work. But I indulged in lots of chocolate, so that made it better! My birthday is also my daughters birthday so actually it usually focuses on her anymore. We went out to eat at olive garden if I remember rightly.

Happy Birthday!!! Well, my last birthday my dad's health was declining and had just gotten out of the hospital and I was exhausted! Hubby gave me a new DSLR camera a month or so early, so that was my gift from him. To celebrate, we went to a local restaurant 'Provinos' and had some incredible Italian food! On your birthday you get your meal, up to $12 I think, for free! It was delicious! And they top it off by bringing you a dish of spumoni ice cream for dessert with a candle stuck in it! Very special way to celebrate!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, TRACY!!!!! Hope you have a wonderful day even at work and I'm sure your DH will treat you extra special! My last birthday (1/18) was spent shopping and eating. Usually it's one of the coldest days of the year so I celebrate twice a year.... six months later I have another birthday along with Mom, sister, brother and two nephews who have actual July birthdays. Been this way since I was 21 (if you want to know how old I am here's a hint: I've been 21 28 times!). Have a great day, darlin'!

On my last birthday I ate plenty of turkey and dressing because last year it fell on Thanksgiving!! I love turkey dinner and I love when my birthday falls on that day!

My last birthday was in December. My husband, my boys and I went to see the newest Alvin and the Chipmunks movie and went to eat dinner at Fuji steakhouse. That night we got a sitter and hubby and I went out with some friends. Definitely a great birthday!

Well, my last Bday was yesterday

! I celebrated with having coffee with my mother in law, had a wonderful meal with my dh and my kids at supper time. Waiting for family bday party for myself and my oldest over the weekend, can't wait

oh,I hope your BD is fabulous! I honestly can't remember my BD and I think I'm in trouble because it was only 4 months ago! Oh, my--I must be getting old! I know DH took me out the weekend before to Joe's Crab Shack but I don't remember anything else. I think I was sick so maybe that's why I forgot! (sigh!)
