Happy Friday! I'm sorry it's been so quiet here on my blog this week. I'm sorry to say that my insomnia and migraines have returned.

My doctor and I thought we had it figured out and under control. We had changed my bc pills last year because my migraines got worse. And then last December was when the insomnia set in. Because I'm taking quite a few things for my migraines, it took us a while to figure out it was my bc pills again. So we did a month of detox off the bc pills. Then I started up with a new pill at the beginning of February. Everything was great until the past two weeks when the insomnia and migraines returned. Ugh!

So, back to the drawing board! I'll try to post when I can, but just letting you know I might be a bit quieter than usual here over the next few weeks while I sort things out again.



I called in sick today because I only slept three hours last night. So instead of laying in bed, sweating, tossing and turning at 2am, I decided I would get up and be productive. I decided to play along in this week's sketch challenge on SCS and the clean and simple challenge.

My base is PTI spring rain cardstock cut and folded to 4.25" square. I made a little faux-notebook paper with my prismacolor pencils and a sprial notebook punch. My focal image is from Unity's Hodgepodge of Happiness kit stamped in Palette Noir ink.

I used my Copic Spica red glitter pen to color in the word kindness and the tiny hearts for a little sparkle and pop. I mounted the entire thing on a panel of PTI pure poppy cardstock. Then finished the card off with a paperclip and bit of blue satin ribbon from my stash.
