I've been perusing
Pinterest more and more these days, and I find myself pinning layouts almost constantly! So I thought it was high time to make another one.
It seems as though digital scrapping is really taking off. And although it may sound strange at first to pin and be inspired by digi layouts, I think a lot of the ideas can translate really well into the physical scrapping world!
Here's the layout I pinned back in the beginning of March. I loved the dark base, open space, and falling leaves.
For my layout, I wanted to recreate the same feeling from the inspiration piece. I used a
black base, mounted my photo, and added some
ribbon for movement and texture.
Then came the fun part- those leaves! The
Build-a-Flower die-cut is so much more than flowers. In fact, the first thing I noticed when I saw it were those gorgeous leaves. I love the texture down the center of each leaf. I cut several leaves each in white and cream cardstock, then arranged them until I liked the layout.
And that's it! Hope you enjoyed it. You'll be seeing many more layouts from me inspired by digi ones. {wink}
