IHP April Challenge

Our April i {heart} papers challenge is to focus on the lovely, brand new 100% wool felt that Kate now carries in the store.

I decided to showcase this yummy felt on a layout, using some diecuts to make cute shapes. Since this felt is 100% wool, it cuts like a dream and leaves almost no little fuzzies behind. Gotta love that!



I can't take credit for the idea behind this layout. I CASE'd it from a layout I pinned last week. I loved the square mats and tiny clouds and thought this would look great with little polaroids.

So I printed out some photos I took a couple weeks ago of the spring flowers in my garden and got to work!



It's hard to tell from these photos, but some of the decorative paper squares have a pierced border around them for more interest. The squares measure 2" and my entire layout is 8" square.

I tried to keep the entire thing fairly simple and uncluttered so as to not detract from the photos and felt embellishments.
