Happy Monday and happy September! I cannot believe the summer has flown by so quickly. Although, hopefully we still have another month or two of warm weather here before it starts to cool down.

This week over on Card Patterns we're lucky enough to be sponsored by the adorable Taylor~Made by JenMarie who sent us each some {ippity} stamps to play with.

My card base is PTI dark chocolate. The patterned paper is all October Afternoon that JenMarie sent along to us. I stamped that sweet little book image in Palette Burnt Umber ink then colored it in using my prismacolor pencils. I added some shimmer and sparkle with my Copic Spica chocolate & lemon glitter pen.

The rest of the card is pretty simple. I inked up the edges of my image using my Palette Burnt Umber ink for a more rustic, leathery, book-ish look. Then added a few blue satin ribbon loops on the right to go along with the sketch and pick up colors from the DP.

Morning and happy Monday! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend.

Just a quick post this morning to share my card with you for this week's sketch over on Card Patterns. We're being sponsored by DRS Designs this week and each DT member got to play with some of their gorgeous rubber stamps on our cards.

My card base is PTI kraft. I used this HUGE pumpkin floral stamp on my card, stamped it in Palette Burnt Umber ink, then colored in with my prismacolor pencils. I love the look of prismas on kraft. It's so rustic and perfect for these fall cards!

I distressed the edges a bit, then mounted my image panel up on dimensionals for more interest. I added a bit of jute twine and trio of Champagne self-adhesive pearls. Then finished my card off with a little sparkle from my Copic Spica gold & chocolate glitter pens.

Happy Monday! What a whirlwind of a day it was here. So busy at work I didn't even have a chance to pop on and make my Monday post for you all. Better late than never, right?

We had a free-for-all week over on Card Patterns which meant we got to use our own stash for our cards. My base is PTI kraft. That gorgeous decorative paper is October Afternoon's Thrift Shop. I faux-stitched it using my paper piercer and Copic Multiliner. Then distressed and sponged the edges for a more aged look.

That adorable birdcage and its resident are from My Cute Stamps Elegant Birds set. I stamped the cage in Palette Noir ink. Then the little bird was stamped right over the cage in Palette Beaux Arts Blue ink. I colored them both in with my prismacolor pencils and added some shimmer using my Copic Spica gold glitter pen. I finished the card off with a little sentiment tag and some aqua glimmer ribbon.

Well happy Monday friends! So glad you could stop by and visit me, even though I've been neglecting this little blog of mine a bit lately.

This week we're being sponsored by Blackleaf Design over on Card Patterns. And the entire DT got to play with some of their digital sets on our cards.

My base is PTI kraft. That sweet decorative paper is all from October Afternoon's Thrift Shop collection. I love the sweet prints in this pad. It really does remind me of an afternoon spent rummaging through the racks at my local thrift stores. Of course you know I had to faux-stitch it using my paper piercer and Copic Multiliner.

I used this sweet clothesline image from the Baby Doodles stamp set and colored it in with my prismacolor pencils. I used my Copic Spica pink glitter pen to color in the heart on the jumper for a bit of sparkle.

I cut the image out using my long classic nestabilities and scalloped long classic nestabilities for the mat. Then finished my card off with a little sticker from SRM stickers and a few snips of white satin ribbon from my stash.

Faith, Hope, & Love

Happy Monday! It was a busy weekend around the Schultz household. Lots of projects going on- staining the deck, repairing the foundation, sealing the driveway, etc.

But I did manage to squeeze in a few minutes of crafty time to make my card for this week's sketch over on Card Patterns. We're being sponsored by Meljen Designs and the DT was lucky enough to play with their absolutely adorable digis this week.

My card base is PTI kraft. The decorative paper is all from MME's Be Loved collection from this past Valentine's Day. It's still perfect for all of those lovey-dovey cards. I faux-stitched the base layer with my paper piercer and Copic Multiliner.

I printed the Faith Hope Love digi out on kraft cardstock, then colored it in with my prismacolor pencils. I added some shimmer with my Copic Spica red glitter pen. The scalloped layer underneath was cut using my scalloped squares nestabilities.

I finished my card off with a bit of this ivory faux-suede ruffled ribbon, a trio of pearl dew drops, and a little paper rose from my stash.

Rainbow Bird

Good morning! I have a colorful card to share with you for this week's sketch over on Card Patterns. We're sponsored by Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps this week and the DT all got to play with some of their adorable digi images.

My card base is PTI white. All of the decorative paper comes from October Afternoon's Report Card collection. I faux-stitched the edges with my paper piercer and Copic multiliner.

I used the sweet little Rainbow Bird digi on my card and colored it in with my prismacolor pencils, then blended with baby oil and stumps. I cut the entire thing out and popped it up on dimensionals for more interest.

I finished my card off with a bit of this May Arts reversible orange/yellow satin ribbon and a little pink button from my stash. Then used my Copic Spica clear glitter pen to add some shimmer to that rainbow and the sweet little bird.
