Pro Disc Golfer & Putting League Director

In 2018, my boyfriend convinced me to give disc golf a try. I had thrown a disc at the beach a bit, but never thought of it as a sport. I tried it, liked it, but then forgot about it.

When COVID hit the US, I found myself drawn back in and quickly was hooked. I got a PDGA number in 2021 and started signing up for local tournaments.

In 2022, I started a women's virtual putting league. I wanted to create an inclusive space where women could practice in a competitive, fun environment. Our first session had just 20 competitors in 2 different pools. I host spring, fall, and winter putting sessions for women all via FaceBook. Our latest session has 70 competitors across 3 different pools, awarding over $1,000 in cash and $250 in prizes.

The next year, I was welcomed as a regional representative to NorthEastern Women's Disc Golf. After learning from fellow reps & board members, I reached out to local tournament directors to help add separate women's layouts or women's tees to their events to encourage women to sign up. I also added a third pool to my virtual putting league to welcome newer female players.
